Junming Zhu is an Associate Professor at the School of Public Policy and Management at Tsinghua University and a co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Industrial Ecology. His research focuses on evaluation of environmental and resource policies, environmental governance, and industrial ecology. His research has been supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the US National Science Foundation, Tsinghua University, and Yale University. His research appears on journals like Nature Communications, Regulation & Governance, and Environmental Science & Technology. Prior to joining the Tsinghua faculty, Junming worked at the School of Forestry and Environmental Studies at Yale University, at the School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs at Northeastern University, and at the Center for Integrative Environmental Research at the University of Maryland. He received his B.S. and M.S. in environmental science and engineering at Tsinghua University, and his Ph.D. in Policy Studies at the University of Maryland, College Park.
