Yuxin Lan is an assistant professor at the School of Public Policy & Management at Tsinghua University, where he works in NGO Research Center, one of the earliest and most prestigious institutes on the third sector research in China. He is also an editorial member of the journal China Non-profit Review. His research on Chinese third sector covers a range of topics connected to the theory and practice of CSOs (civil society organizations) cultivation, state-society collaboration, philanthropy and social innovations. Recently he is working on a book about China’s NGO policy and practice at the community level.
