Dr. Penglong Zhang is an assistant professor at School of Public Policy and Management, Tsinghua University. He obtained his Ph.D. in economics from Boston College in 2018. He served as a Research Affiliate at MIT Sloan School of Management in 2017. He earned his bachelor’s dual degrees in economics and mathematics in 2010, his master degree in world economy at Renmin at Renmin University of China. His main research fields include international trade, development, international relations, and economic geography. He is teaching Development: Theory and Practice (in English), and Belt and Road Initiative and the Reshaping of World Economy (in English).
