Cunyi Yin is a professor at School of Public Policy & Management (SPPM) and the executive associate Dean at Institute of Taiwan Studies (ITS), Tsinghua University. Professor Yin is the visiting scholar in University of Toronto in 1998 and Leiden University in 2008. Professor Yin has been appointed as the research fellow in several academic institutes, such as IIAS Center for Regulation and Governance (Netherland), Cross Strait Relations Research Center (Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council), Institute of Taiwan Studies (Shanghai), Taiwan Research Institute of Xiamen University. Professor Yin also serves for Cross-strait Industrial Cooperation Consultative Group (National Development and Reform Commission and the Taiwan Affairs Office), the National Social Science Foundation, National Taiwan Research Association, China Council for the promotion of peaceful reunification, and so on. Professor Yin is the author or editor of five books, including Regional Development and policy (Social Sciences Academic Press, 2011), Industry 4.0 and Cross-strait Industry cooperation (forthcoming). Professor Yin published nearly 40 articles both in English SSCI journals such as Environment and Planning C: Government and Policy, and in Chinese CSSCI journals such as Public Management Review, Journal of Tsinghua University (Philosophy and Social Sciences, International Economic Review, Journal of Finance and Economics, Taiwan Studies, Taiwan Research Quarterly, Asia-pacific Economic Review, Studies on Hong Kong and Macao. Professor Yin also launched over 20 research subjects for the National Social Science Foundation, the state ministries and local governments. Among them, the subject report of “Analysis of People’s Conditions in Southern Taiwan” got instructions from the central leadership. Professor Yin offers courses to under- and postgraduate, such as (for Ph.D students, academic master students, MPA students), (for MPA students), (for undergraduate students) .
