Bo MENG is the Associate Dean for development and international cooperation of the School of Public Policy and Management (SPPM), Tsinghua University. She is leading the development office and international office. She has been serving the school for 13 years, bridging SPPM with its international partners through joint research, faculty and student exchange, and other international programs. She chairs the operation of Master of Public Administration in International Development – MID since 2007, China’s first international development master program taught in English, and brought it into the global network of MDP in 2009. She also chairs the International Master of Public Administration-IMPA, China’s first one-year master program for government official from developing countries. She leads the joint executive training programs between HKS and SPPM since 2002. She is the deputy director of Brookings-Tsinghua Center, Brooking’s first overseas joint center. In July 2013, with her and her team’s efforts, the MPA program of SPPM was accredited by NASPAA, the first graduate degree in public affairs outside the United States to receive NASPAA accreditation. Her teaching and research interests include public administration, human resources management, international development and communication skills.
She holds a MPA degree from Seattle University, USA, in 1999, and a B.A. degree from Foreign Affairs University in China in 1995. She joined School of Public Policy and Management at Tsinghua University in 2000.
