魏德安，现任佐治亚州立大学政治学教授、中国研究中心主任，威尔逊国际学者中心基辛格中美关系研究所访问学者，曾在北京大学、南京大学—约翰·霍普金斯大学中美文化研究中心、台湾大学担任访问教授，著有《从毛泽东到市场：寻租、地方保护主义和中国的市场化》等著作。魏德安教授15年来一直研究中国的腐败问题，2014年出版的《双重悖论》通过大量案例研究和数据分析，探讨了中国经济发展与腐败的关系，形成广泛影响。

Bio：
Andrew Wedeman is a Professor of Political Science at Georgia State University, where he heads up the China Studies Initiative. He is also a Fellow of Kissinger Institute on China and the United States at the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars. In addition he has held posts a visiting research professor at Peking University, a Visiting Associate Professor of Political Science at the Johns Hopkins Nanjing University Center for Sino-American Studies and a Fulbright Research Professorship at National Taiwan University. His publications include Double Paradox: Rapid Growth and Rising Corruption in China(Cornell); From Mao to Market: Rent Seeking, Local Protectionism, and Marketization in China (Cambridge); numerous articles in academic journals including China Quarterly,Journal of Contemporary China; and China Review; and chapters in numerous edited volumes.
