1) Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens holding a foreign private ordinary passport. 2) Master’s degree program applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent degree to a Bachelor’s Degree (or above) in China. The students who will enroll in 2026 must obtain the nationally recognized bachelor’s degree or master’s degree (for the universities of Mainland China) or the degree authentication report issued by Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange, Ministry of Education, P. R. China (CSCSE) (for overseas universities) before Tsinghua University graduate student registration date of 2026, otherwise the admission qualification is invalid.
3) Applicants should have at least 3 years of full-time working experience after obtaining the bachelor’s degree.
4) Applicants should have high English proficiency (For non-native English speakers: TOEFL 85/ IELTS 6.5, or an official letter confirming that English was the medium of instruction in their bachelor’s studies).
5) Applicants should be in good health and of good character (meet the physical examination requirements stipulated by the country and Tsinghua), be well-behaved and be willing to abide by China’s laws and regulations, as well as Tsinghua University’s rules.
Note: The applicant shall carefully check whether he/she meets the application qualification and application requirements (including the application requirements declared by Tsinghua SPPM) before applying. The relevant consequences arising from his/her failure to meet the application qualification and application requirements shall be borne by the applicant himself/herself.
