Brief Introductions
The Institute for 21st Century Development, Tsinghua University, was established in 1996 as a university-level research institution with a mission to study development strategies and public policies for the 21st century. Since its inception, the Institute has conducted numerous influential studies on public policy and has nurtured a large number of research talents.
Mission
The aim of the Institute for 21st Century Development is to establish a top-tier academic think tank. Its mission is to conduct in-depth, systematic and comprehensive research on major issues in public affairs such as public policy, national governance and global open economy, and to provide original, valuable and feasible research findings.
Organizational Structures
The Management Committee of the Institute for 21st Century Development is the decision-making body of the Institute, while the Academic Committee provides academic guidance. Under the guidance of the Management Committee, the Dean is responsible for the daily management of the Institute.
