The Institute for Market Governance (IMG) of the School of Public Policy and Management of Tsinghua University was established in May 2017. The institute is committed to academic research on the theory and practice of market economy, government-market relations, and state governance, aiming to promote collaboration among academics, industry, non-governmental organizations and the government, and to provide policy advice to governments, businesses and other organizations. Supported by the School of Public Policy and Management of Tsinghua University, the institute adheres to the principles of research and openness, and integrates academic resources from the school, the university, and the outside to create a high-level platform for academic research, exchange, and consultation. The institute will develop distinctive qualities and significant impacts in both basic theoretical research and public policy research.
