A delegation from Japan headed by the Chairman of Komatsu Group, Mr Mashiro Sakamoto visited Tsinghua University to discuss the prospects of joint cooperation between both institutions. Mr Sakamoto subsequently gave a speech entitled “Understanding the Profound Changes in Japanese Companies and Sharing Global Leadership Ideas”. He discussed the structural reforms of Komatsu and there was much in-depth discussion with the audience. Chairing the lecture was Vice-president Professor Meng Qingguo and Tsinghua SPPM’s Director of Institute of International Strategy & Development, Professor Yu Yongda who also delivered a speech to a full house that was attended by over 200 teachers and students.
