Speaker’s Bio:
Ambassador Pan began to work at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1977. During over thirty years of his diplomatic career, he has held the posts of Counselor in Embassy of PRC in Iran and the UK, Deputy Director of the Department of West Asia and North Africa of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of PRC to the Sultanate of Oman. He also served as Deputy General Manager in the International Projects Company of the China National Petroleum Corporation. In 2010, he was awarded as the Sultanate of Oman (King) Envoy with the Highest Honor.
