On September 5, 2012, the IMPA2012 Opening Ceremony was held in the School of Public Policy and Management (SPPM). Since the inception of the IMPA program in 2008, the SPPM has trained 136 graduates with advanced public management knowledge and skills for 53 Asian and African countries. This year, through rigorous selection, 34 students have been enrolled who came from 18 Asian and African countries. The majority of the class worked in government agencies.
