HAN Tingchun-School of Public Policy and Management of Tsinghua University

HAN Tingchun is an Economics Professor at School of Public Policy and Management（SPPM）in Tsinghua University.

He holds BS and MS of Mathematics from Shandong University at China and PhD in Economics from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He was a post-doctoral research fellow at China Center for Economic Research of Peking University from 1999 to 2000. He was a visiting scholar to Australia in 1990s and visited Harvard University in the second half of 2005.

He mainly teaches Economics and Quantitative Research Methods for graduate students at SPPM. Courses include "Public Economics", "Social Research Methods", "Quantitative Research Methods II", etc.

His research focuses on Economic Growth, Financial Development, Financial Ecology. He has published several articles in " The Journal of World Economy", " China Industrial Economics", "China Public Administration Review"，"Journal of Tsinghua University" and other academic journals. He has also accomplished several research projects from National Natural Science Foundation of China, Tsinghua University Research Foundation.
