On the afternoon of Nov. 11th, Professor Richard Zeckhauser from Harvard Kennedy School visited SPPM. Professor and Dean Xue Lan met with him and hosted a seminar in Room 302. Professors and students from Public Policy Institute and Institute of Government attended the seminar.  They had an in-depth discusstioin with Prof. Zeckhauser about public policies in China.

Richard Zeckhauser graduated from Harvard College (summa cum laude) and received his Ph.D. there. He is an elected fellow of the Econometric Society, the Institute of Medicine (National Academy of Sciences), and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Zeckhauser pioneered the field of policy analysis, and is a leading expert on economic behavior under uncertainty.
