A ceremony granting guest professorship was held for Professor John Holdren of Harvard University. The event was attended by vice-president Professor Xie Weihe and presided by Dean of SPPM, Professor Xue Lan at the Main Building in honor of the event. Professor Holdren gave a speech entitled ‘Meeting the Climate-Change Challenge: What do we know? What should we do?” A small roundtable discussion was later held with students from SPPM.
