On Jan. 8th, 2014, the IMPA 2013 Students spent an enlightening hour with the school Dean, professor XUE Lan.
After one-year of study at in SPPM, Tsinghua University, the IMPA students had a lot to share and this meeting provided a good opportunity for them to exchange thoughts and gains. Students expressed that studying IMPA program not only improved their overall quality, but also changed their perception of China. Moreover, it enabled them to gain a better understanding of China’s development, which is very practical to contribute to the development of their home countries.
The Dean, Prof. XUE Lan stressed the importance of student feedback in the form of evaluations of professors and courses as a means of improving the school. The dean also emphasized the importance of networking after graduation, mentioning that hope they can keep the SPPM updated on their progress and share it with all SPPM alumni.
In the end, as the Chinese New Year is approaching, prof. XUE presented a Red Envelope filled with Chinese traditional handicraft, paper cutting to each of IMPA students.
The meeting with the Dean is organized by the IMPA program office and hosted by the associate Dean, prof. MENG Bo.
