On January 21, 2014, the spring commencement ceremony of Tsinghua University and School of Public Policy and Management were held successfully. Around 90 graduates of both Chinese and international made their presence in the ceremony. Among them, 31 IMPA students and 6 MID students officially graduated from Tsinghua University.
In this memorable occasion, Prof. XUE Lan, Dean of SPPM and Prof. WU Yongping, Associate Dean of SPPM, congratulated the graduates on behalf of the school. With Prof. MENG Bo being the MC, the ceremony was lightened up by the presence of representatives from the Embassies of the students. Managers from MCC Overseas also attended the ceremony and sent their greetings. MID 2009 Alumnus Mr. Gonzalo Matamala O., on behalf of international alumni of SPPM, made a speech to the audience.
During the ceremony, Tatjana Titareva, Paul Mubau and Keera Mellonie Clarke from IMPA 2013 class and Joao Ricardo Trevisan De Souza from MID awarded the School Outstanding Master’s Thesis. Moreover, Vivian Argueta Bernal Zabaleta was recommended as the University Outstanding one. In the end, Dean Xue and Associate Dean Wu conferred the degree to each graduate.
