Hon. Dr. John Gai Nyuot Yoh, Minister of Education, Science and Technology of South Sudan, visited Tsinghua University on June 7th. Tsinghua University Vice President Yuan Si had a talk with Mr. Yoh in the president’s office. Afterwards, Mr. Yoh visited SPPM, where he met and had a discussion with prof. XUE Lan, the Dean of SPPM, exchanging ideas on cooperation between both sides. Ms. Meng Bo, the Associate Dean of SPPM, prof. Yu An and two IMPA 2014 students from South Sudan attended the discussion.
Hon. Dr. John Gai Nyuot Yoh has been the Minister of Education, Science and Technology of South Sudan since August 2013. During the visit, he is accompanied by counsellor of the embassy in Beijing and officials from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. In the delegation, Mr. Monday Kumba, counsellor of the embassy of South Sudan in Beijing, is the alumnus of IMPA program.
