On March 27, at the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2025, Muhammad Yunus, Chief Adviser of the Bangladeshi Interim Government, Nobel Peace Prize laureate, and member of the Global Advisory Board (GAB) of School of Public Policy and Management, Tsinghua University (Tsinghua SPPM), had a cordial meeting with Wu Xiaoling, former Deputy Governor of the People's Bank of China and the inaugural Dean of Tsinghua University’s PBC School of Finance, and Zhu Xufeng, Dean of Tsinghua SPPM. Lamiya Morshed, Chief Coordinator of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Affairs of Bangladesh, and Mohammad Nazrul, Ambassador of Bangladesh to China, also attended the meeting.

As a member of the GAB at Tsinghua SPPM, Professor Yunus stated his enduring commitment to the school’s development. He then outlined the global development framework of the Yunus Social Business Center and its progress within China. Furthermore, he detailed advancements towards the "Three Zero World" vision (zero poverty, zero unemployment, and zero net carbon emissions), urging greater youth participation in the initiative.
Zhu Xufeng briefed Yunus on the overall development of Tsinghua SPPM and its GAB, with particular emphasis on the achievements of the school's all-English international degree programs. He noted that these programs have successfully trained over 700 students from developing countries, including five graduates from Bangladesh. Zhu Xufeng affirmed the school’s commitment to actively promoting research and youth initiatives related to Yunus’s "social business" theory and practice, and to strengthening collaboration with the 111 Yunus Centers across 40 countries. He expressed anticipation for Yunus's future visit to Tsinghua University and Tsinghua SPPM.
Yunus conveyed his enthusiasm for a future visit to Tsinghua University to engage with faculty and students. He also detailed the annual Yunus Social Business Day Youth Exchange Event, which will be held in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, this June.
