On March 24, Stanford University Emeritus Professor, Chairman of the Institute of International Economics , Academic Chair of the Center for Industrial Development and Environmental Governance (CIDEG) at SPPM and Tsinghua Guest Professor Masahiko Aoki paid a visit to SPPM to sign memorandum of understanding conferring the hosting rights to the 2011 International Economics Associations’ annual world meeting to Tsinghua University . This prestigious event will be held in July 2011 and is co-hosted by SPPM and Tsinghua School of Economics and Management. Tsinghua Vice President Professor Xie Weihe was also present to sign the protocol and to show Prof. Aoki around the different venues at Tsinghua that will host the event.
