On May 21, a 40 member delegation from George Mason University (USA) paid a visit to SPPM. They were greeted and given an introduction to the school by Assistant Dean Meng Bo. Following that, Yu Yongda, Director of the Institute of International Development and Strategies gave a presentation to the group on “China’s advantage integration development strategy”. The lecture examined how to develop China’s own strategic advantages and better integrate with the world economy. Students and teachers joined the debate concerning whether China’s development should be centered on comparative advantage strategy or competitive advantage strategy and there was much in-depth discussions and exchanges.
