China Institute for Development Planning assists in 2010 World Competitiveness Yearbook publication

The International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland, recently published its annual World Competitiveness Yearbook rankings for 2010.  China climbed two spots from last year to number 18.  The China Institute for Development Planning at Tsinghua University assisted IMD in collecting and analyzing data on China.
 
IMD’s World Competitiveness Yearbook is the most renowned annual report on the competitiveness of nations.  It ranks the world’s 57 leading economies based on four major factors: economic performance, government efficiency, business efficiency and infrastructure.  Since 2008, the China Institute for Development Planning at Tsinghua University has participated in the compilation of the report.
