4 MID Students Awarded China Development Bank Distinguished International Student Certificate

On April 28^th, the awarding ceremony of China Development Bank Distinguished International Student Scholarship was held in a meeting room of China Development Bank (CDB). 4 MID students, with the other 4 scholarship winners from SEM, Tsinghua University attended the ceremony. They were Austin Ong, Hoang Vu and Alem Lakew from MID 2012 class & Stella Matsinhe from MID 2011 class.

Launched in March, 2011, the scholarship aims to promote the cultural and friendship exchange between China and other developing countries by awarding the distinguished international students of economics, management and finance in China’s local universities. In 2013, 44 international students from Tsinghua University, Peking University, Renmin University, Fudan University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, University of International Business and Economics and Shandong University were selected for the CDB scholarship.
