Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan visited SPPM

On July 2^nd, H.E. James Wani Igga, Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan visited SPPM. Mr Yuan Si, Associate Dean of Tsinghua University, Mr. Li Yuhong, Deputy Director of International Cooperation and Exchange Office of Tsinghua University, Professor Xue Lan, Dean of SPPM, Mrs. Meng Bo, Associate Dean of SPPM and two students from South Sudan of SPPM participated the meeting.

After the meeting, H.E. James Wani Igga gave a speech titled “A Brief History about 's Struggle and the Future Perspectives of South Sudan-China Relations” to the students at SPPM. Professor Xue Lan hosted the speech.

In his speech, Mr. Wani highlighted the history of educational and cultural development of South Sudan, and shared the views of relations and cooperation between China and South Sudan. He said that South Sudan has a deep friendship with China, and thanks for the valuable support of China to promote long-term peace, stability and economic development in South Sudan.
