The Master of Public Administration in International Development and Governance (MIDG) is a new English degree program which opened this year. It is the first international development program in China designed for professionals engaged in international development and governance in developing countries. By integrating cross-disciplinary knowledge and combining traditional classroom teaching as well as practice, the program aims to help students gain a deep understanding of international development and governance with emphasis of China’s development experience, and enhances their analytical and problem solving abilities by applying public administrative theories and tools. The 15 students from 7 countries become the first MIDG batch to SPPM.
