SPPM’s Four Research Outputs Win the 7th National University Research Excellence Award (in the Arena of Humanities and Social Sciences)

The Ministry of Education officially announced the receivers of the 7^th University Research Excellence Award. Four faculty of SPPM won the second prizes. Associate Professor HUANG Cui ‘s research report titled “Quantitative Research on Public Policy Literature Review and Its Application in Decision Making” and Professor WANG Yahuang‘s research report on “Research on the Stages of Water Resources Development -- the Division, Evaluation and Strategic Orientation” won the Second Prize of research reports. Also, Professor XUE Lan won the second prize in the section of management books with his book titled “OECD China Innovation Policy Research Report”. In addition, Professor HU Angang’s book on “National Studies Report (1998-2011)” won the second prize in the section of interdisciplinary books.

The University Research Excellence Award was established in 1995 by the Ministry of Education, and was presented every three years. It is regarded as the highest award in philosophy and social sciences areas.

This year, there are a total of 912 awards, including 50 first prizes, 252 second prizes, 599 third prizes, as well as 11 academic promotion awards.
