On the evening of June 11, nearly 50 students from SPPM participated in an exchange with George Soros at China World Hotel. The meeting was chaired by Professor Cui Zhiyuan and attended by Professors Hu Angang and Yu Qiao. Mr Soros talked to the group about his new book and shared with students his understanding of the current financial crisis. Students had the opportunity to ask Mr Soros about his life experiences and were delighted to have had the rare opportunity to have an up-close meeting with him. Mr Soros was also presented with a book as a gift from the school.
