On 9^th June, the Brookings-Tsinghua Center (BTC) hosted a US climate change delegation headed by US special envoy for climate change Todd Stern at SPPM. The group held an informal conference with many distinguished panelists from China and the moderator was director of BTC, Prof Xiao Geng.  The discussions focused on developing long term cooperation between China and US in tackling climate change and the complex issues surrounding technology transfer.  It was a candid and open session with many panelists openly sharing their opinions and suggestions for US-China climate change cooperation.

The meeting was closed to the media.
