IMPA Students Dialogue with World Bank's Vice President

On the afternoon of Jan. 13^th, Mr. Makhtar Diop, World Bank's Vice President visited Tsinghua University, and delivered a speech on the topic of “Lessons for Africa from China's Growth”. As Mr. Makhtar Diop is responsible for African affairs in the World Bank, the lecture attracted a lot of faculty and students who did African Studies and the China-Africa relations, including many IMPA students from SPPM. The event is organized by SPPM and the School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University. Professor Qian Yingyi, Dean of SEM, moderated the lecture and made comments afterwards.
