On October 21-26, the School of Public Policy and Management, Tsinghua University hosted a series of International Workshops for the 13^th Anniversary, to celebrate this joyful day and to strengthen international academic cooperation and exchanges.

 

These international workshops covered four major topics including Europe-Asia Cooperation in Climate Change Negotiations, Global Ideas and China Learning from the West, Innovation, Development and Public Governance, Local Government Entrepreneurship in China: Dynamics, Achievement and Risks. Many scholars and experts participated in the workshops and had thorough discussion along these subjects. 

 

The School of Public Policy and Management (SPPM) of Tsinghua University was founded in 2000. As the first graduate school in public administration in China, the school’s long-term objective is to become a world-class institution that actively engages in teaching, research, and consulting in global public affairs. The Master of Public Administration (MPA) program offered by SPPM has successfully obtained the accreditation on July 16th, 2013 reviewed by Commission on Peer Review and Accreditation (COPRA) of the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA). SPPM is the first school in public affairs outside the United States to receive the NASPAA Accreditation.
